The Prodigy Performing Arts Summer Camp (PPASC) is a focused-driven and fun day camp that is ideal for students to achieve their greatest God-given potential in a small, but growing setting. The goal is to provide a resourceful, exciting, innovative environment for campers to experience music development and to grow creatively. Designed specifically for 8-18 year olds, PPASC exposes students to a diverse blend of styles in music production, song writing, keyboard, drums & rhythms, spoken word/poetry, cinematography, keyboard, voice and dance including r&b, blues, gospel, funk, hip-hop, and jazz. Students are enrolled in a dynamic curriculum designed around their interests and talent that are taught by some of Richmond’s finest producers, songwriters, dancers and vocal coaches. PPASC is a day camp lasting six weeks, beginning in June the first week after school ends for summer break.

PPASC 2016 Music Video Production
This year cinematography was added to the curriculum. As part of their coarse the campers were required to produce two music videos. Their instructor, the very talented and amazing Film Producer/Photographer Nic Taylor of Mykindaparty, trained and guided these gifted young people through the art of music video production .
